The Villa offers a genuine Bali holiday experience in the comfort of a contemporary Balinese-style villa. Incorporating traditional architectural elements in its design, the two-level villa is built into a gradually sloping hill which runs down to a stream at the base of a large tropical garden. A blend of indoor and outdoor living areas enjoy views over the delightful 9 x 4.5m pool, thatched bale (gazebo) and lush garden (all enchantingly floodlit in the evening), down to the rice fields on the other side of the stream.    

The living room, dining room and four bedrooms are marble-floored and accented with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture, plus antique Balinese doors and carvings, all under traditional, lofty wood-beamed ceilings. The spacious lounge area opens out onto a large, covered verandah and is a fabulous place to entertain or just sit back and enjoy the delightful rural setting. The villa is complete with an equipped kitchen, WiFi internet and a home entertainment system, and the staffs (including a maid and cook, who will also do your grocery shopping) ensure that once you arrive there is really no need to leave. The Villa is perfect for a family holiday: the master bedroom is situated in a separate building to the main house and shares its elegant bathroom, complete with jacuzzi, with a connecting children’s bedroom with two bunk beds.

The Villa is hidden down a little-used road, through the rice fields on the edge of the traditional Balinese village of Tumbak Bayu. From the Villa, you can enjoying the view of the rice fields. As the village consists of little more than a collection of small houses and a few local shops, there is little to do in the immediate area other than enjoy the peace and quiet of this Villa surroundings or take a walk through the rice fields or into the village. Pererenan Beach (5km), at the far end of the village, is good for surfing (though not safe for swimming) and it’s only a short drive further south to Canggu beach and the popular restaurants and surf breaks there.
