The Villas are located on sloping land overlooking the river valley, with amazing deep valley views. The setting is harmonious with the surrounding nature and provides peace and privacy.

However, the privacy of the location comes with the potential disadvantage of an 80 metre walk, 6 flights of stairs and a bridge over a deep ravine.

The  Villa is a traditional gledag or wooden house, rebuilt using the original timber. The wood creates a lovely warmth and homely feeling. The layout consists of a very large bedroom with king-size double bed, which could be made into a twin, a daybed/extra single bed, and space for another single bed. The room has both airconditioning and a ceiling fan. There is a TV, DVD player, sound dock and a desk. The bathroom/ dressing room is large and offers a shower and a generous bathtub.

For reading, relaxing and occasional dining, there is a verandah with a daybed and table/chairs. Kingfisher Villa is so named because it is close to the river. From the verandah you can see the whitewater rapids and, hopefully, you will also catch a glimpse of the bright blue Java Kingfisher which lives on the other side of the river and often flies past to go fishing.

The Villas offer a unique connection with nature and with traditional Indonesian living, but with all the luxurious comforts you would expect from Amori Villas. You will enjoy all the facilities and excellent service provided by resort staff, but at a more affordable room rate compared to the suites and villas which are located closer to the restaurant and pool. The walk is only 60-80 metres across the bridge but there are also 6 flights of stairs to reach pool deck and restaurant.
